This blog is about quilting. My goal is to share my works in progress (WIPs) and finishes (good and bad) and talk about what makes them successful or less so.
I love reading other quilters’ blogs and participating in link parties and events. Since I spend so much time learning about and thinking about quilts and fabric, another goal of this blog is to share a little of what I have learned via tutorials, a beginner’s series, and quilt-a-longs.
Happy quilting!

Hello, it’s nearly Christmas, and I wanted to do something nice for people. So I’m nominating a few of you for the Versatile Blogger Award. It means I really like what you do and how you do it, it doesn’t mean you actually have to do anything if you already have it or don’t feel like participating. If you do want to play, go here: http://talltalesfromchiconia.wordpress.com/2013/12/18/and-another-one
Happy Christmas! Kate
Sarah, I love your Baby X Swoon quilt! I have not made a swoon block yet but it is next on my list. I plan to do a baby version and I think I will use your quilt as my guide.

I love being inspired by your work and I’m wondering if you would ever consider writing about how you find time to sew. I have a new baby also, my second was born in December and I can barely get the dishes done let alone spending “me” time at my machine.
